The About of Bible Lecture Series
The Bible Lecture Series is the hallmark evangelistic campaign of our fellowship, conducted annually—typically in the second semester of the academic year. It is a week-long (or more) spiritual program held every evening, focused on sharing the everlasting Gospel of Jesus Christ with the entire university community, students, faculty, and staffs.
This program is not just a yearly event, it is a deep expression of our calling and the very foundation of the fellowship’s mission “to preach the word to the world around and beyond.”
With weeks of strategic publicity and preparation, the Bible Lecture Series invites both Adventist and non-Adventist friends to explore biblical truths in a welcoming, Spirit-filled environment. Members of the fellowship are encouraged to invite their roommates, friends, and colleagues to be part of this life-transforming experience.
Each year, the fellowship prayerfully selects a speaker either our Chaplain or another Spirit-led preacher to lead the series. The speaker is supported by a dedicated team, which may be appointed or self-selected, ensuring the message is well-coordinated and impactful
Purpose Of Bible Lecture Series
To Evangelize: Reach out to the entire campus community with the truth of God’s word and the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
To Invite: Provide a platform where non-Adventist friends can feel welcome, ask questions, and engage with biblical teachings.
To Lead to Christ: By the end of the campaign, new believers are often led to baptism, making a bold decision to follow Christ.
To Disciple: After baptism, the fellowship continues to nurture these new believers in their spiritual walk, through Bible studies and fellowship.
Organizational Framework
A Bible Lecture Series Committee is appointed by the fellowship’s board to oversee the program’s logistics and experience. Their responsibilities include:
Selecting a suitable venue for the campaign
Coordinating gifts and tokens for our guests and first-time visitors
Managing publicity and outreach strategies
Supporting the speaker and ensuring a seamless week of spirit-filled events
The Bible Lecture Series is more than a program; it is a movement of truth, love, and revival that leaves a lasting spiritual imprint each year. It continues to raise disciples and expand God’s kingdom right here on campus.
